Startuplab.01 Publishes Terms of Reference for Deep Tech Accelerators

Startuplab.01, an initiative led by Fundación Chile and Corfo, announced an open call to receive proposals from national or international entities interested in designing and implementing acceleration programs for scientific and technological startups focused on climate solutions, under the umbrella of startuplab.01.

The call is structured according to the conditions, guidelines, and procedures established in Terms of Reference (ToR), available below.

The process is supported by BID Lab, a founding partner of startuplab.01, which backs the development of specialized programs to drive the growth of deep tech startups in Chile and Latin America.

The objective of this call is to strengthen Chile’s innovation ecosystem, attracting accelerators with proven experience in developing startups that face long validation cycles, specialized infrastructure needs, and difficulties accessing financing and strategic networks.

According to the ToR, interested entities must submit proposals that include:

  • At least 4 cohorts of 10–12 startups each.
  • Technologies at stages TRL 3 to TRL 9.
  • A commitment to diversity: 30% of startups led by women and 40% with impact on vulnerable populations.

Proposals will be accepted until September 24, 2025, at 5:00 PM (UTC-3).
