The residency is designed for science and technology startups that:
Take a detailed look at what the residency includes
Davailable exclusively to resident startups.
Through partnerships with Futuro Perfecto and Hello Tomorrow, residents gain access to programs with specialized methodologies, technical mentoring, and international networks that support the transition from scientific validation to commercial development and global scale
An intensive 5-month program focused on turning scientific breakthroughs into commercial value propositions and preparing startups for investment.
The program covers the full development journey of a deep tech startup, from defining the impact thesis and customer discovery to building an MVP and preparing to pitch to investors.
Includes:
A deep tech acceleration program structured around specific technology verticals, enabling content, mentoring, and connections aligned with each startup’s industry.
Across 5 monthly modules, startups build the foundations to scale their technology and access global markets and investors.
Includes:
Our 485 m2 Wet Lab is equipped with infrastructure and work areas dedicated to the end-to-end development of biotechnology-based solutions.
Microbiology Area
BSL-2 spaces for microbial culture and microbiological analysis.
Molecular Biology Area
Equipment for PCR, electrophoresis, and genetic analysis.
Cell Biology Area
Laminar flow hoods and
cell culture equipment.
Analytical Chemistry Area
Instrumentation for compound characterization and analysis.
Cold Rooms
Controlled storage at different temperatures (-80°C, -20°C, 4°C).
Autoclave and Wash Area
Centralized space for sterilization and cleaning of labware.
Workbenches
Private lab benches for each startup.
Storage Area
Dedicated space for storing solid materials or reagents for each resident.
The Wet Lab is managed by a Lab Manager responsible for training and coordinating equipment use. In addition, each resident has access to a booking platform to schedule and plan their experiments.
As part of startuplab.01, residents receive special discounts on lab materials and reagents. Some basic reagents and/or consumables are included in the lab, and other complex reagents can be requested from the Lab Manager, who will handle quotes and purchasing.
There are opportunities to collaborate with other residents to request the potential acquisition of specialized equipment, as long as there are shared needs. These requests will be reviewed by the startuplab.01 team, and the feasibility of acquiring the equipment will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
The Wet Lab enables a range of assays and procedures in molecular biology, microbiology, and analytical chemistry.
This does not prevent residents from bringing their own instruments, as long as they are an appropriate size for storage and do not compromise space for other residents.

The Dry Lab has 505 m2 of spaces dedicated to engineering, electronics, and fabrication work for modeling, simulation, and hardware prototyping.
This area houses 3D printers, laser cutters, and precision cutting tools. It is intended for rapid fabrication of physical components for prototypes, enabling early design iterations. It shares physical space with the electronics and modeling/simulation zones, encouraging collaboration and a continuous workflow between design, electronics, and manufacturing.
Equipped with soldering stations, a PCB mill, and electronics development kits, this zone enables the creation, modification, and testing of electronic circuits. It is spatially integrated with the digital fabrication and modeling zones, making it easier to iterate between hardware and physical design.
This area has workstations equipped with CAD design software and electronic and environmental simulation tools. It is designed for pre-fabrication design and connects directly to the electronics and digital fabrication zones to enable a complete design–build–test cycle.
A closed, independent area containing a computer numerical control machine (CNC router) for working with wood, plastics, and non-ferrous metals. Due to noise, dust, and safety requirements, it is isolated from the rest of the work areas.
A space equipped with hand tools, workbenches, and fastening and assembly elements. It is intended for assembly tasks, mechanical intervention, and fine-tuning of prototypes. It serves as a bridge between digital fabrication and functional testing of developments.
Includes storage rooms for supplies, spare parts, and materials, as well as dedicated spaces for each startup. This zone ensures internal logistics, tool safekeeping, and an organized workspace.
An area equipped with mobile furniture and audiovisual resources, designed for workshops and technical training. It can accommodate up to 24 people at the same time for hands-on or theoretical activities.
You can develop advanced prototypes, precision electronics, complex mechanical systems, and functional materials.
Direct connections with corporates, investors, entrepreneurs, and expert scientists to accelerate technological progress and commercial validation.
You’ll also be part of a unique collaborative community that aims to solve humanity’s biggest challenges by innovating in applied science and technology.
In addition to the labs, startuplab.01 provides a complete workspace designed to foster collaboration and peer-to-peer growth.
